When I come home from work, I take off all my clothes, hang them up or put them in my laundry bin. Run a bath water. Put music on. Soak in the water and think. Wash my body. Get out. Lotion my body. Lay down for 15 minutes. It’s something that is so essential to mental health. Be gentle with yourself. I can’t thrust myself from my work mode into more work mode at home. You need the transition. You need to restore yourself.
